Why using a betting broker?

To get the best odds

You will find much better odds there, in the order of 10 to 20% better than traditional bookmakers. So if you want to make a lot of money in sports betting, this is a good start. So why such a difference? A traditional bookmaker will set the odds on his site and take a margin.

Example

Let's take the Liverpool vs Manchester City game as an example, where the odds of each team winning will be close to 50/50. This means that in theory the odds of each team to win should be around 2.00. But in reality, it will be around 1.85, and this difference is the bookmaker's margin.

The betting exchange site will not take any margin since it is the bettors who will set the odds. And the bookmaker will be paid a commission on the winnings which is between 1.5 and 5%. And despite this commission, the odds will always be much more interesting on a betting exchange site than at a traditional bookmaker.

No limitation

In betting exchange there are no limitations on winnings. It is important to know that most bookmakers keep a close eye on their customers' accounts. And as soon as they spot a bettor who generates winnings a little too regularly, they will simply limit his account in the amount of bets, and sometimes even close it. And the problem is that they have every right to do so.

If you decide to bet using a betting broker you will never be limited, because this type of bookmaker is paid on commission and they don't care if you lose or win your bets.

No max bet

There is no max bet in betting exchange, in other words no maximum bet. A traditional bookmaker will always have a defined maximum bet amount. On a betting broker website, the maximum bet amount will be the amount you have in your account. You could very well place 20,000 Euros on a bet if you wanted to. As long as there is enough liquidity in the market, this is absolutely not a problem.

The Lay bet

A big advantage of betting brokerage system is that you will be able to place lay bets. For those who don't know what a lay is. Lay means betting against an event. On our Liverpool vs Manchester City match, if I want to bet against Liverpool winning, then I simply place a Liverpool Lay. Many betting exchange strategies are based on the lay principle, such as the 0-0 lay or the lay the draw.

Trading

You will be able to trade your bets. This means that you will be able to generate profits even before the end of a match. Of course, some bookmakers offer cash outs and allow you to cash in before the end of the match. Except that the deal your bookmaker will offer you will be very bad and greatly undervalued. All this obviously to force you to keep your bet until the end of the match.

Securing your bets

In betting exchange, you can secure your bets and make your cash outs manually. The big advantage is that your returns are much higher.

So whether you are new to sports betting or even an experienced bettor. If you are still betting at traditional bookmakers, you should really try the betting exchange at least once and see what new options it can bring you. I personally started betting using a betting broker in 2004 and I don't plan to stop.
